know the past to understand the future...Compagnia del Freddo boasts a great tradition in ice-cream field: In 1898 the founding family printed packaging for small icecream manufacturers. Lately a descendant set up an icecream laboratory in Naples, the hothouse for a new technology aimed at keeping the quality of freshly-made ice-cream, overcoming the obstacles posed by the cold chain. In 2005, after years of R&D, a creamy ready mix was conceived - MATERIA PRIMA - bound to mark a turning point in ice-cream, as it is stored at room temperature and a quick batch freeze gets all the flavour of Gelato icecream.
